think its okay to pretend to be a US Military soldier and play on people emotions enough to get them to thank him for his service. This is the most disqusting thing I have ever seen. I literally almost had an anurism this made me so mad. and if you dont think he is lying read his other posts and put 2 and 2 together.

I agree, he is definitely no soldier. As a soldier myself, I've never heard of the unit "2nd Bn, Ranger" either. There are A LOT of 2nd BNs out there.
His unit should look something like mine does here;
81st RSC (Higher command), 640th TC Det (My individual unit), we’re out of MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa Florida.
Also, no real Republican wants to pull out of Iraq (much like Libs, difference is we don't lie bout it)
And, if what Rebecca says is true I guess I'm no soldier either, I serve in the Army Reserve, which is almost the same as the National Guard.
Oh, and in case she hasn't noticed, just as many Reserve and Guard soldiers have been fighting this war as Active Duty soldiers. Same can be said for a lot of other wars/conflicts.

That is probably the most disrespectful thing I have ever heard of - and you're right, I don't care what the political persuasion of the jacka** is.
I think it might even be against the law - you're using a false identity (or is it only on this thing?).
Good for you for digging into this. THANK YOU for respecting our soldiers.

I think its apparent from the answers that most people knew it was bogus, and that is what bothers me the most.
I have never seen that much kindness and support from those answerers for conservatives in the military on this site.

I agree that it's wrong, as the child/grandchild of military people. However, George Bush pretends that he was a soldier, and no one seems to care about that.
Alpha Male: Good for you. Keep it up. I'm not blasting the military, but I do have an issue with people who think so-called "liberals" are behind everything they find issue with in this country. Bush is guilty of almost everything the "liberals" are guilty of, and then some. This is my opinion.

Politics has nothing to do with it. In that case, why did GW Bush go AWOL from the National Guard?
I was in the US Army, 594th, FA. BN., and I'm a liberal.

Probably because of a total lack of respect for those who risk their lives to protect us.

If someone made it up, they are pitiful, shameless morons. Don't think that kind of thing is limited to liberals though.

what specifically made you think that he is lying... I do know some people that have similar beliefs and they served?
some of the answers are somewhat immature at times... but is that really impossible?
according to Rush, Michael J. Fox couldn't be shaking that much... right?
