I just got an iPod shuffle. I already put some songs on it. I KNOW I have songs on it. But when I turn it on and put in the head phones then press play, it doesn't work. I even tried to put up the volume. Whats wrong?

Maybe your headphones are broken. If you think your iPod Shuffle is broken, you can take it to the nearest Apple store and ask them to check it out, and if it IS broken, they will probably give you a new free one.

The bad thing about helping people on yahoo answers is that you cant actually see the problem online! Maybe, your shuffle doesn't have batteries or something is plugged in properly. Simple things like that. If you really cant even listen to the songs, I suggest you should return it to a store for a refund. They should let you return the shuffle because if you buy something that doesnt work, than it's a waste of time and money. Plus, the product isn't merchantable quality. In Australia, we have a website called CHOICE and it is a private company advising consumers about the best products to buy and the disadvantages in some products. CHOICE has named Ipod, a shonky award because of it's poor waranty and service. Next if you want to play a music player, buy something else, besides an Ipod, as Ipods may be cool and really popular but do they actually work as good as everyone thinks they are?

check the library on your pc and make sure there are songs on that. Sync the ipod again and make sure the music uploads. If the music uploads and you still can't get the ipod to play, contact support.
