It's different for everyone.
For a little kid, a source of happiness could be candy and icecream.
For a teenager, a source of happiness could be success in school, or having truly understanding friends.
For an adult, a source of happiness could be a loving, secure family.
It all depends.

It is being on the middle of the lake in your boat fishing and taking in some rays. The source of happiness is what is inside you that makes you happy.

the source of happiness is where you feel complete. i find it by being with my friends and family and being able to be there for them when they need me the most. when you find your own source of happiness then you just might feel complete. i know i do. i have God in my life and He makes me so much happier now than when i was without Him. if you have God then you are the luckiest person in the world. because without Him life is dull and without the true love of life.

God is the source of all happiness. Without HIM, happiness is just a facade.

DrK hit the nail on the head. Happiness comes from equanimity, or being content in all things. It's not about getting what you want, but learning to want what you have. My $0.02.

The fulfillment of your spirit. I don't mean something which is all-encompassing; just little things everyday.
