I would suggest calling the hostest and see if they would like you to bring a covered dish, or take a bottle of wine or a center piece for the table, I hope this helps and have a Happy Thanksgiving

thanksgiving isnt a religious thing - Im not american either but I know that much. Its Christmas thats a religious holiday. I would usually bring a scented candle or a flowering plant or flowers or chocolates or cake or wine to someones house for such a thing. They may say a prayer of thanks before the meal but this isnt specifically any religion it just thanks for good things given. When finished the meal place your knife and fork together on the plate, dont lean accross the table for anything but ask someone to pass it to you or offer to pass it when you are finished. Food dishes/water jug are passed to the left. Use your knife and fork and dont lick your knife or hold them in the air. Keep your elbows off the table. Dont ask for ketchup or anything if its not on the table. Offer to help with the dishes and compliment the cook. Place your napkin on your lap and when finished the meal place it on the table in front not in your finished dinner. Hope that helps.

A bottle of wine is always nice. If they don't serve alcohol then a nice flower arrangement for the table is good.

A bottle of wine, or, if you can afford it, have a floral centerpiece delivered the day before. Depends on how close you are to the hosts.

wine is always good. if they have more bottles, they can keep yours for next time. someone said that dessert is too personal and that if there is another one made by the host, it is not a good idea.

Offer to bring food or offer to help wash dishes after the meal.
