This is not exactly the answer to your question, but it might help you.

There are a number of chemicals that "compete" with one another in our bodies. Iodine/Iodide is necessary for healthy thyroid function, as mentioned extremely briefly by the first answerer. Unfortunately fluorine/fluoride and chlorine/chloride "cancel out" iodine/iodide in your system. So it's imperative if you want to absorb and be able to utilize the proper amount of iodine/iodide to help support thyroid function, that you avoid chlorine and fluoride as much as possible. Even the vapors that are sent into the air from the tap water while washing dishes or flushing the toilet or taking a shower can affect this delicate balance.

So, in addition to getting a good thyroid-supportive supplement, a water filter for your home is a good idea. If you drink tap water, consider getting a distiller or use bottled water that does not have added fluoride and find a toothpaste that does not contain fluoride.

I have a highly informative booklet I read recently that might be of some use to you. If you want it, feel free to email me and I can send it to you.

Also, my mom has had some success with a product for thyroid produced by youngliving.org.

I hope you find what you're looking for!

I have by no potential been on any man made thyroid hormone so can't impressive answer your question. i'm taking a organic thyroid hormone said as "Nature Thyroid". purely pointing out it in case you want yet another organic thyroid hormone for your record to look into to boot to Armour. i trust the nature Thyroid has a lot less binders than Armour, making it extra accessible to the body's receptor internet sites. also--that is amazingly valuable to have your iodine ranges checked. If ranges are inadequate, the thyroid can't function impressive. I were waiting to chop back the nature Thyroid two times through perfect iodine supplementation--and that i lost the further weight I had received round my waist. of route, make confident you're literally not allergic to iodine. sources are listed below. solid success and best of well-being to you.

Armour Thyroid. After 30 years of taking the synthetic thyroid compounds, my doctor switched me to Armour Thyroid about 3 months ago: I feel like a new person. Cannot tell you the difference this type of thyroid medication has made in my life.

Did you hear something about it? I really don't know any natural way to stimulate the thyroid. And I have hypothyroidism for 18 years, using medicines.
