New kid at my work was really obnoxious. Was a total partier, anti-police, but funny at the same time. Now, I'm usually a pretty cool kid, but he was just over-powering in his want for attention. He was "in" with one of the cooler kids that work there, so he decided to pick on others - namely, me, sometimes, but I would shrug it off, and laugh sometimes, even snap back funnily lol.

But why does he need to be center of attention all the time? Feel the need to steal food?

He needs attention because apparently this is the only way he gets it. Start ignoring him when he behaves that way (treat him like a 3 yr old) and he'll stop.

Ask him loudly or in front of other coworkes did his parents teach him any manners? He goes uh? And you say its only obviously NO!

Ask him did his parents teach him anything? Like consideration, thoughtfulness?

Point him out to the boss, cause this guy is a real jerk. And probably will steal from the companies cash box next, instead of the fridge.

Start puttting vaseline on sandwich breads and other icky stuff.

some people need the attention, i tell you if your insult the cr*p out of him, then he'll feel some negative attention. its easy between a normal insult and a real insult, and its the delivery, you gotta make it sound like you are a lot more superior and smarter and just dog him

You should try to avoid this situation all together. Your at work to work, not to make friends or not make friends. Possibly he has nothing better in his life... Just go on about your buisness and he will get the idea, or not but who cares?

He probably wants to make a "cool" self image first so his co- workers won't see that he has an inner "himself" that's geeky or something. So he gets it when he acts like a turd toward you.
