Excuse my language, but damn!!! I watched "Spouse Swap" on tv because my mom made me get off, and I was addicted. I kept on thinking, "How? Why? What?" as I watched it. I just couldn't believe-- didn't want to believe-- my eyes because what I was seeing was so disturbing.
However, it made me definitely appreciate the simple things in my life more! :-)

The glory of the sunrise; the soft brush of my cats against my legs; a soft, warm bed; a good book; wildflowers; smiles from strangers; tiny icy-bright stars in an inky-black sky; the sound of rain on the roof, as I drift off to sleep; laughs from friends; good, tight hugs from family; the scent of new-mown grass, or burning leaves; a fresh, new idea; warm, fresh laundry; a cool, brisk wind; serious kisses and promises; walking fast, until I leave it all behind...

Don't let that show get to you. I think it is all fake and set-up! Yes. I do like the simple things in life, like watching my kitten play or a beautiful fall day, things like that. Good question.

hey misery, i answered a question the other day about the intelligence level on the box, seems to me people are only watching, ( what they call reality ) t.v, now that IS disturbing. I just don't get it, are people so disgruntled with there own lives? and why are they living through those shows? Could it be that bad? are we that desperate, or just that unhappy. ?

I AM

Me too! I don't like big, rich houses!. This may sound silly but I actually want to live in a trailer park when I get older.
