I'm right into my 28th week and I've been experiencing the same thing. I'm having lower backaches, lower abdominal cramps (but I'm sure it's round ligament pain), my tailbone is sore too and I have pain in my legs. My doctor told me that the pain in my legs is caused by sciatica. I've read different things on this. Some say it's your uterus growing and pressing against the sciatic nerve. Others say that it's the way the baby's positioned and could be pressing against that nerve too.
Bottom line: since we're getting bigger and so are our babies as the days go by, that sciatic pain is not likely to go away until after our babies are born.
Congrats and good luck!

I had massive period pains in the beginning of my pregnancy, and I too was worried about them. My OB told me that it was round ligament pain and my uterus stretching and making room. I know they can be very uncomfortable but what I would do is take a warm shower and set an ice pack on my lower abdomen. My OB told me not to use heat because the baby cannot regulate its own heat and it can cause the baby's temperature to increase to much. I found the ice packs VERY helpful. Your back pains are probably related to the uterus stretching and making room, even though the uterus isn't all that big its putting pressure on the muscles and veins in your lower back. Ice packs and stretching help with lower back pain too. My OB said that I could use heat for my back but only on a low heat and no more than 5-10 mins at a time. On miscarriages. If you are going to miscarry there isn't anything you can do about it. Miscarriage is natures way of natural selection, when the sperm and egg cells combined it is determined right then if you are going to miscarry or not. The reasoning for miscarriage is because the embryo doesn't have strong genes. I know that it sounds really cruel when it is put that is how the human body makes sure there are Diverse genes in the human gene pool. Its like that will all mammals. It really is just basic biology. But I wouldn't worry about miscarriage unless you start bleeding or the cramps become unbearable. If that happens go the the ER asap! Once you reach 14 week the chances of miscarriage decreases tromendusly. But don't stress your self out, or worry about it.

It's probably normal. I had a lot of stretching pain when I was pregnant, especially with my first. Everything is growing and stretching and rearranging very rapidly in your body, so you should expect some pain. But as with anything pregnancy related, you should always bring it up at your next doctor's appointment. However, if the pain comes and goes in a regular pattern or gets worse, or if you have any bleeding, call your doctor immediately or go to the emergency room.

I suggest you speak with your doctor as soon as possible. You may have just been a little over-active.. it could be something more serious.
I don't want to sound like an alarmist but last week my second trimester pregnancy ended with a still birth. I wish I hadn't waited until my regular visit to ask about my cramps, it was too late.
I seriously hope it is nothing.. but please err on the side of caution.

I had pains like that. My ob-gyn told me it was the tendons that run up the front of your legs to your abd. They are getting streched really bad right now. That ends up pulling on the muscles too which make you sore. It scared me too, sometimes I couldn't straigten all the way up for a few minutes because it hurt so badly.

U are carrying more weight, u need to lay on the sofa and elevate legs on arm of sofa.
Take deep breathes thru your nose and breathe deep concentrating on belly button and release thru mouth.
This should make u feel better and relieve stress of pregnancy.
A good diet would be Total cereal, fruits, juices

I experienced that at about 7 months and was told that it was just caused by the baby's head causing extra pressure in the pelvis and possibly to a nerve. Mention it at your next visit just to be safe, but I bet that is what it is.

Sounds normal, the baby could be laying on a nerve. Or laying close to your rectum or on your bladder.Usually problems occur with bleeding,so as long as there's no bleeding it's probably OK.I bet your having a boy, they usually lay very low.

you have to remember that you are carrying extra weight that your baody is not used to, so the pain in your legs can be from that. your uterus is stretching to make room for your growing baby and everytime you move it stretches a little more remeber its like a piece of elastic and when you move it stretches thats why sweat pants are so comfortable.:)
