An intersection where the traffic lights are out should be treated as a 4 way stop!

Seeing as this is an unsafe intersection, it you can turn right, and then make a U turn down the road safely, and return to the intersection to turn right again onto the road you started on (on the other side) you will be better off!

Treat it as a four way, BUT do not trust other drivers know the rules. In other words, make sure all have stopped before you go on, or oncoming cars are so far away they can not possibly hit you.
The a*rse you save may be your own!
By the way, funny one badmts it happens too often.
Oh yes, always carefully look *both* directions before going on. One of badmts mates may be out on the road that day!
One older woman, actually very old that I know, habitually prays before getting on public roadways. Maybe she has an idea....
Give your soul to God because you a*rse may be taken by the devil!
Ha Ha!

Proceed with caution and treat as a junction without lights. Be prepared to give way to traffic from both directions as well as those approaching from opposite you.

Stop, look more carefully than you would otherwise, and proceed with EXTREME caution.

Bear in mind that even if the light is working and in your favour, you never know if the guy coming the other way is drunk, had a heart attck etc - so you still have a duty to take an appropriate amount of care.

Treat this junction as an unmarked crossroads. No one has priority so you need to be ready to give way to any traffic.Make eye contact with any other drivers before you go through. Alternatively shut your eyes blast through and wake up in hospital

Stop. look all ways, IF there are other at intersection the one first one stoped OR who is on the right has the the rightaway, and assume no one else will follow the law & the Big dump truck has no brakes.

It is treated the same way as a four way stop. If two cars reach it the same time the one to the right will go first.

4 way stop, exactly.

Or if you are like the idiots in my town- if you are on the "main" road you just keep driving.
