Different colours can mean different positions, crew, crew chiefs and managers. There may be different coloured shirts for each position though because McDonalds likes to change the colour schemes every couple of years.

the place I stay in Canada, white shirts are for salaried managers, meaning save managers, 1st assitants, and 2d assistants. Salaried managers additionally placed on mild blue shirts and blue/black striped shirts, which ALL managers placed on. wish this solutions your questions! =)
