I am filling out a page in my baby's book on the family tree and come to a conundrum. How do I enter my parents if they have divorced and remarried? There is only room for two names. Thanks for your help.

Put in the biological parents with an asterisk ("*"). Add a sheet that says while Mr. John Smith and Mrs Mary (Jones) Smith were married in 1985, she finally got tired of him eating crackers in bed, so she left him for Carlos, an Argentine Polo player, while he is making his way through life with Lulani, a lady he met while pearl diving in the South Pacific.

Everyone has just two (biological) parents. People, however, can have dozens of partners.
