Ian is a great name. It is more common over in Britain but it's common enough here in the states that it won't turn heads or anything. Nice pick.

I think Ian is cute. I get the same kind of thing with my son Chase. It is a pretty popular name among preschoolers but older generations act like it is the strangest name they have heard! lol

I dont think its common but its not something way out there. I like it. I have known people that pronounced it both ways. Just correct them, who cares what they think of it, he's your baby boy!.
