this is the reason behind stopping sex plays during periods.men are at risk of getting serious infections during periods if they enter into intercourse or even licking when she is fertile is mere madness.u will invite infections !! so beware

several things are possible.... usually its because the pH level of the vagina is off balance. This can be solved by eating cultured yogurt or by taking Acidophilis, a natural bacteria. Frequent douching can also cause this problem because it makes the vagina too alkaline. One can also purchase Monistat over the counter and this helps as well.
