I have owned both a Jeep, Grand Cherokee and a Chevy Trail Blazer this yr. I traded the Jeep in due to the fact that it just didn't have the room and all of the other extra's that I wanted. Also, the Chevy is a more stable and sound ride than the Jeep. Although, the Jeep corner's very well. If I were you, go with the Chevy Tahoe or Trail Blazer, fully loaded, with sun roof, xm, on-star, heated seats and the extra row of seats. Must be leather, with the side bars on it. Have fun with your new car!!!

I have a friend who is a Jeep mechanic. He would say to take the Chevy for electrical reasons.

which meets your needs and affordability best?

I'm a "Chevy Girl" personally so that gets my vote. But I would consider a Jeep vehicle.
