The key thing about the PS3 is the Blu-ray technology, which basically makes the PS3 the first High-Definition DVD Player. Forget that it plays high quality games, is internet capable, and does many other things....just focus on the High-Definition aspect of it. There are many people out there with the Hi-Def TV's that have been wanting the Hi-Def DVD players...this is it. There are no others...yet.

$600 isn't a really high price for this system, considering the first VCR's in the 70's sold for $1600.

The Playstation 3 is going to have a built-in Blu-Ray disc player, be HDMI compatible, and play games like Grand Theft Auto IV. That isn't enough for me, but crazy playstation fans are loving every bit of it.

What's so special? Better graphics. That's about it. Not worth all the fuss.
