You should get a french manicure but don't leave the tops of the finger nail (The part you don't want to chew off) and paint that purple. You Paint the Tips white and the base purple or pink.

DO NOT do not do not paint your nails purple! Give them a nice neutral shade. That is an elegant dress and purple nails are not elegant. Go with a soft natural nail. Try Opi Italian love affair, or Polar Bare, or Malaysian Mist, all are very sheer. I think french manicures are overrated. go to www.opi.com so you can see the colors.

Well to start out your dress is Gorgeous
and i thank your should go with a french tip.
But if you want to stand out more you should do a purple frost with diamond on all your nails it will be so hot and freash you will be the life
of the party.

I think that your dress is simply gorgeous and sophisticated and your nails should be the same, therefore you should go with a lilac sheer nail polish or Avon's instant dry enamel strip in "Lets go lavender". This way you'll forego the vamp look and be simply beautiful.

A nice nuetral shade with an iridescent gloss would look great. When the light catches it will compliment the purple without being to matchy matchy.

black nails are in and i just did my nails with a plum french tip on top of the black very now and fresh this look is best on short nails but if long you could do a small black half moon at base and plum the rest i think this would be nice to

Gorgeous dress...
You could be a little bit daring and go with a nail colour matching the dress...or otherwise, you could just go with a deep red. Think anything but firetruck!

The colors that are "in" are dark shades...I think if you have nice short nails, you should go with a very dark chocolate color, even black...if you dont want to be daring you can go with a soft ivory pastel color...good luck!

I'd go with either a good ol' french manicure or a sparkly nailpolish.
Also, you could get some pretty tips with designs like swirls or rhinestones.
