Rabbits can be a wonderful companion. They do take more devotion than a dog or cat. They a affectionate, intelligent, but can be demanding in the attention department. They are litter trainable, without much more effort than it takes for a kitten.

I got my rabbit by accident, when I was asked to foster it. Got educated in a hurry, fell in love, and you would have to rip her from my cold dead arms to get her away from me now.

If you are thinking about a rabbit, get a paperback book and do some reading to see if you are really up to taking proper care of it both physically and emotionally. If you are, then you will never regret it.

Rabbits are wonderful house pets, if you take the time to train them as you would train a cat or dog or other pet.

Rabbits can use a litter box (mine can and do) just like a cat (but use paper litter instead of cat litter)

Rabbits are playful, and people friendly if you take the time to play with them.

Rabbits ARE delicate, and can't be rough-housed with. Car travel and plane travel scare them, as do many cats, dogs, and other predator pets.

Rabbits can be spayed and neutered, just like cats and dogs. And they SHOULD be fixed, its healthier for them.

They are great pets. I take mine outside on a leash...cutest thing ever. And they love snuggling with me while I read a book in the evening.

Intelligent, quiet, humorous, playful, sensitive, mischievous, loving, beautiful animals who make wonderful pets.
Once they form a bond it is the strongest thing I have ever seen. They can learn a variety of things as long as the owner takes the time to teach them. They CAN and DO use a litter box-- much better at it after they are neutered.
Wouldn't trade mine for the world.

I love rabbits, we had one for 7 years, I was seriously allergic to him, but I kept him anyway and just suffered through. He was a sweetheart, very smart.

I do not think about rabbits.

Keep the males and the females separate, or you will have many, many rabbits, very soon :-))
