Alcohol is #1 at getting wax off. Youll have to work at it though. You can also use lotion or oil. Any type of oil (mineral, corn, olive, baby, whatever) will do.

No matter what, dont panic and chop your hair off. I've done this more than once. I usually soak a cotton ball with alcohol and rub it over the wax. Then I douse it wih Wax Off by GiGi (a wax removal lotion, but you can use oil or regular lotion too), and comb through (using a fine tooth comb or lash comb) with the lotion still on the hair. I remove the excess lotion with a towel, and dont rinse it off for a few hours until my shower. Wax is all gone.

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.

Wet towel and a hot iron. Make sure it's a towel you don't want. Try to use a white or light colored one so that dye won't fade on to the carpet also. Good Luck.
