I overheard a group of men talking and one expressed that american women were lazy and spoiled. My girlfriend is more outspoken than me, so she had to reply to that statement. I'm just curious what your reply would be?

I wouldnt reply at all, everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I already know that is an untrue statement, I dont need validation.

Those guys were using the same idiocy that we see in any remark that applies to all members of a group ... girls , boys, men, women, WASPs, Blacks, Jews, etc. Making a biased generalization that supposedly applies to all members of a group is virtually always wrong for the large majority of folks who belong to the group.
However, in this case, the statement about American women is accurate.

You know that I've heard that a couple of times before. I'm an American woman and it's not that we are lazy we just don't have to struggle to do things that they do in other countries. We have more conveniences than some other women have and they think that that makes us lazy.

All the american women I know work hard. They have jobs, take care of their children and homes. Nothing spoiled or lazy there.

It would depend on where I was at the time. Although I may have thoughts on the matter, I may not say anything to a group of strange men.

all i can say is you would have to excuse them because the only girls they see are most likely girl dogs when there sitting down with there tails tucked so those guys dont get to friendly with them.that or they must of been talking about themselves when they made the remark.
(no disrespect to animals lovers for what is said in the first sentence)

I would ask them when was the last time you came home from work, cooked dinner, helped kids with homework, cleaned the dishes, threw some clothes in the washer, etc? All before you had time for yourself and for sex with your wife?

they weren't talking about my wife. she does more in 2hrs.than most do in a days time. some men just like to hear themselves talk,and I am a man. I ran a bar for 23 years & I heard a lot!

I would have told the guy who said it that maybe he should stop living with his widowed mother living off life insurance and go take a look around.
