I recently went on a business trip and this man I work with had went on ad on about what a good time we were going to have on this trip. Well i kind of ignored him at first but then he kept after me all night which ended up at a bar with both of us drinking!!! we were with a group of our coworkers. He was very friendly and protective of me in this enviroment but when it got time to go we started walking out together and all of the sudden he was gone in the elevator. Co-workers are not allowed to frolic at our company but the next morning he actually had the nerve to say he pushed my floor # in the hotel instead of his and that he came back down stairs to look for me what do you think?????

Assuming you are both single, you said there is a no frolic policy at your company and there were co-workers present. How likely was frolicking to be kept a private matter? Not very and I think he likes his job and reputation intact. I also think he likes you (or lusts for you). That was not the venue and there may not be one where he would feel it safe to frolic. Perhaps you should thank him for his good judgment (or fear).

I think he wants you to chase him, guys like that for some reason, but if you so your pissed or not interested he finds a way to get your attention again

He was drunk and not thinking clearly. It's possible he thought you were there and when he realized you weren't came back to find you.

i think he was drunk. i think you were lucky. i think you were looking for more. i think you could have been fired. i think you should rethink your motivations for going on the trip in the first place.
this was a business trip not a vacation.
