The sounds that animals make depend on the language of the listener, since people will naturally assign familiar phonetics
to make an "onomatopoeia" (or word that imitates the sound it represents).

For example, an American frog might say "rivet rivet"
but a Chinese frog might say "qingwa qingwa."

If you mean what is the difference between the throat/nasal passages of a dog and a pig, that causes them to make different noises, I would look up online for an anatomy diagram, and any description of why pigs snort and dogs bark.

Since dogs are territorial, barking is part of the their nature to signal to each other. That is why when dogs start to bark at night, all the others join in. But pigs have no need to signal that way. They do not rely on predatorial hunting, but on their very sensitive snouts to sniff out food (which is why pigs are used to find truffles). So perhaps the snorting is from the shape of their snouts, which are more important to their survival.

I would imagine it has to do with the way their vocal capabilities have evolved over time.

Difference in environment means difference in traits that allow one organism to survive better than another. Perhaps Dogs developed a bark that sounds like a sharp report as a way to scare off other scavengers in the wild.

Because they evolved from a dinosaur similar to the teradactyl, which scoured the sky for any mischief with its scream. Pigs evolved from little boys who told lies and pretended to be turned into animals by the evil kings. They invented their own sound
