Have you ever noticed when you look good people are way nicer to you than when you don't. I mean yesterday i was walking through campus and people were smily and friendly to me including people I call my friends lol. But when I dont glam up PEOPLE ARENT AS NICE.. why is this.. i must do it to some extent too and maybe dont notice who knows....are people jus way too superficial these days?

People have always been superficial. Everyone is, to an extent. It's the way we are wired, although experience and knowledge can help to overcome most of it. If you see a snake, you want to run because you've been programmed that way. If you see a beautiful person, you want to be nice to them because you feel that you can benefit from it. If you think most "beautiful" people are superficial themselves, you'll have a negative prejudice against them. It's more important to give everyone equal treatment until you find out their true nature, just as snakes can be as harmless as hamsters.

Yes they are way to superficial. But I think what you are trying to ask you answered yourself when you look at people a nice way they will look at you the same! Most normal person would anyway!

You are so right! It is a strange world we live in. A world where everyone demands perfection and good looks. If you are average or ugly it seems you are not treated nicely. When did the world start acting like this?

Yes, and judgemental. However, they may be picking up on a vibe.When you look really good, you WANT to be noticed. When you don't put time into your appearance you may be putting off a vibe that says,"i'm having a bad day, don't talk to me".

Well say this guy that weighs 500 pounds is nice and cool, but there is another guy who is just as nice, and only weighs 200 pounds. Who would you rather be with?
