how many of them are dead? i know John is still alive and Paul is alive but what about George and Ringo?

John Lennon was shot Dec. 8, 1980 by Mark David Chapman, in front of the Dakota apartment building. He died oin the way to the hospital. George Harrison passed away November 29, 2001 of cancer. Ringo Star and Paul McCartney are still alive.

Ringo is alive and still touring. George is dead and so is John. Just Paul and Ringo are left.

George's cancer may have been a result of his being stabbed and if you believe a lot of the Beatlemythlology, Paul has died at least three times (the first by crashing his moped). Pete Best is still alive. Stuart Sutcliffe died of a brain tumour. Billy Preston (keyboard player) died last November age 59. Brian Epstein died of an overdose and Jimmie Nicol who filled in for Ringo on the Australian tour is still living
