Me and my girlfriend were having sexual intercourse and the condom broke. We noticed before I climaxed, but I am worried that some sperm may have dribbled out, i'm heard of pre-ejaculatory shots or whatever the slang is. She's only been taking birth control for 17 days, and the birth control is not supposed to take effect until 28 days after the first usage. How big is the chance that she may be pregnant? Will the birth control becoming effective in 11 days eliminate any chance of pregnancy? Does sperm dribble out before orgasm? Please, I just need some peace of mind or some concrete answers...i am only 15. Thank you...

You shouldn't be having sex unless you are willing and able to deal with the consequences, and 15 is definitely not an age to do so.

It is possible that she could get pregnant from pre-ejaculate, but it's unlikely since she is taking birth control even though it hasn't been the full amount of time.

THINK before doing it again, you are too young to be having sex. Even I waited till I was 16 and even then only did it a couple times with my boyfriend.

It is great that you are using condoms, but always make sure to check the date on the wrappers. They can dry out after months on the shelf at the drug stores as well as in wallets and pockets.
It is good that she is on the pill now. The true chance depends on her cycle and when she was ovulating.
There is a morning after pill available thru Planned Parenthood. In 2 weeks have her take a preg test to be sure - the generic kind are exactly the same quality as the more expensive namebrand versions.

Honestly, as a 15 year old my advice to you is to take your time. You have plenty of time to have sx once you are of age. No, rush - situations like this are easier to deal with as an adult.
Be careful and good luck.

First, stop having sex..you are too young.
Second, how old is your girlfriend? Yes, sperm can dribble out. Your girlfriend needs to take the morning after pill. If you do not want to sire a child then do not have sex. Neither one of you are grown up yet. The fact that both of you are taking precautions is admirable but
unless the both of you are ready to accept the consequences I strong advise abstinence.

okay i just have to laugh at the people that are telling you to stop having sex. ha ha ha. we all know that's not going to happen.

emergency contraception is now sold over the counter but you do have to ask the pharmacist for it. it is most effective if taken within 24 hours.

not sure what kind of birth control your gf is on but alot of methods are effective after 7 days taking them.

yes she could become pregnant and sperm can "dribble out before orgasm"

so definitely get the morning after pill

Women get pregnant on the pill at anytime so use both condoms and the pill. there is always a chance you will have to wait and see if she gets her period and don't be to frightened if she doesn't get her period this month, sometimes when women start birth control pills they miss there periods for several month it is the body's way of adjusting. The most effective is to wait and take the test at the doctor after a missed period.

Its unlikely that your girlfriend got pregnant but again it is possible there is no 100% birth control other then not having sex. To be honest if you can’t handle the consequences i.e. getting a girl pregnant then you should keep your pants zipped.

The morning after pill is an option but hence the name the morning after.

Yes, your girlfriend could be pregnant. You should be prepared for that possibility. That's a responsibility of having sex.

From the moment you have an erection, some sperm does come out of the penis. Lots of people have become pregnant by erroneously trusting in the pull-out method, which does not work.

Yes, it does dribble out, there may be a slight chance of pregnancy. The "morning after" pill for her isn't a bad idea. You are much to young to be having sex but at least you had the sense to use a condom.

I agree get the morning after pill. Planned parenthood gives it out w/ out a script. If you are under 18 you have to request if you are over just bring ID. There is a chance that she is. But a BIGGER chance she isn't. Try a birth control test too. Good Luck!

yes. there is pre-ejaculation this is how many get pregnant.
no the pill doesn't work after the fact..and any sex without a working condom before marriage is risking your life.
go to a clinic asap.
get pregnancy and aids and VD tests. some people have these things not from sex..and remember nice people get them too.

also the best odds against all are the pill and condom for future reference.

if you're choosing to have sex please go to family planning for classes to learn what you need to know..no matter what.

its great your asking for advice but i think you're too young to be having sex or risk becomming parents!

i'll cross my fingers and toes!
