Oh....you're making me smile tonight. A lot. You're also tempting me to say things that Miss Manners shouldn't & that's delightfully fun. Perhaps I should not be drinking this glass of wine & playing here right now....
Hhhmm....how to answer.....
I like to pass the candy out & watch to see how many people can make knots....without using their hands.

My girlfriend and I have found some very interesting things to do with the licorice ropes. Sometimes we use them when they are almost frozen. And other times we use them when they are very warm. It all depends on the activity.
I can't tell you what we do, but we prefer the red ones. And unlike ssirren (who posed the question), we do eat them after the activities.
