It's okay. Even in adult women, these symtpoms when pregant are scary. It probably is just another strange pregnancy thing, but since you are scared, since you are young, and since you don't know for sure if it is something bad, you need to get to a doctor. Call 911, if you have to and ask, or call a local hospital and ask for an OB/GYN doctor. They are the ones to check pregannt girls. Tell them your age, they will not give you a hard time in talking to one. Best of luck with the baby.

As many of the people on here have said, go and talk to your parent or the person you are living with. It's the type of thing that most likely needs to be evaluated by a doctor. Because you are young, it's possible that you are having premature labor, or it could be Braxton Hicks contractions.
Have you been timing them? If they started close and are getting farther apart, then you probably are having Braxton-Hicks contractions.
If they started farther apart and are getting closer together, you may be having the real labor pains.
But I would ask the parent.
Please for your sake and the baby's sake, give yourself some peace of mind on this and ask to see a doctor.

Oh sweetie I feel for you, I had just turned 14 when i got pregnant for the first time.
Though the reality is you are almost due and being so young your body is still developing through it's normal teenage stages as well.
You need to tell your parents or your guardian ASAP. If you are afraid to talk to them then call the ASK-A-NURSE Hot-line in your area, or simply call your doctor. Everything said and done with your Physician is always Confidential and your parents wont know a thing. Although at a time like this I would hope you would turn to them for their Mental support because sweetie at your age you can't go at this alone.
Good Luck, I hope you have a healthy and beautiful baby.

First of all I hope your parents know you are pregnant. Other than that trust me you will know when you're in labour. You will lose your mucous plug, honestly it kinda looks like bloody snot. Shortly after your water may break. Contractions are like really bad cramps and they come and then go away for a few mins. However if you are in serious pain you should get to a hospital NOW anything could be happening. Good luck you'll need it

honey don't let any of these people talk down to you. You need to talk to yuor mom and if she is not there then call your obstetrician. If you can't call them then call your nearest hospital and ask for the birthing center. Tell them what is going on and they may want to see you. If thats the case then call 911 and have them take you to the hospital. You are considered high risk because of your age, but in normal pregnancy the pains are probably braxton hicks contractions. They can feel like the real thing. If you can feel the baby moving then he or she is probably ok. If the baby stops moving then go to the hospital immediately. I just had my daughter 2 months ago and i had false labor for 6 weeks and i know its not fun. If your really concerned about it follow my instructions. If you need some more advice you can e mail me directly.
Good luck and a lot of love to you and your baby

Are you really 13 and pregnant? If so why are you asking yahoo answers? You need to be talking to your mother and letting her take you to be checked by a doctor. You are considered high risk due to your age hon. Go talk to your mom and let her know what is going on so she can help you. This may be a sign of early labor or it could be braxton hicks contractions. Good Luck.

You probably are having what is called Braxton Hicks Contractions.(false labor pains) Thats happens fequently during a pregnancy. You are eight months along, it will most likely keep happening more frequently until you go into labor. But you should tell your parents, and be sure to call your doctor. Hope it all goes well :D

It's quite possible that you're due very soon because you are in fact very young. Young girls often give birth to premature babies.
If you're having cramps THAT badly ... have you told anyone? I would say, have someone take you to see your doctor or run into the hospital and have them check on you.
Don't be stubborn. There's a baby at risk here. It never hurts to check and be sure.

Grrrr!! I hate people on here sometimes. People come on here to ask questions not to be judged by people who don't even know them!! Nevermind the people on here who are judging you, I'm sure they're not perfect! Anyway... About you question. It's not normal to have cramping that makes you need to lay down. It might just be braxton hicks, it could be labour, it could be nothing. Truth is no one on here can tell you because we're not with you. You'll need to tell and adult and then maybe call your doctor. Good luck and congratulations!
