Boy, does that bring back memories! My Dad, brother and I built one and we had so much fun. We would sleep in it with some of our friends and had great times! My Dad would get up the next morning and cook out and make us breakfast, we felt so special. It was also a good place to go when we got into trouble or if we just needed to be alone. Thanks for asking the question, it made my night! It brought back so many treasured memories that I had not thought about for awhile.

Yes. One of our neighbors built one. It was really cool until they had to tear it down because the lumber was stolen from a building contractor who was working on a development in our neighborhood! In those days, it was considered a prank, but now the kid would have been in deep trouble!! Ah childhood! Thanks for the trip down Memory Lane. I had forgotten about that.
