Its nothing wrong, but you have no companion to share and care for you in the long run. If you being a loner than who is going to take care of you during your old ages?

the only thing that i can think of that's wrong with being a loner is how people seem to push that you should be doing something.
i get it constantly from people i work with and other people.
i have a new neighbor but she is someone i have associated with in the past on a few occasions, i was doing yard work and she was walking past me and said hi and told me she lives next door now and why... before she said bye she tells me i should join her some night at this local bar/restaurant. i said thanks, but no thanks,i prefer to be alone. i don't think she liked my answer because she went on about how i should still join her.

Honestly, you are not alone. Believe it or not, there are others just like you. At times it's ok to be a loner and have that alone time to yourself. I know what you 're going through, and it's hard...really. Maybe you should consider being more sociable?

Not really. But you should always try new stuff (like not being a loner) too.

not really, some people are just very independent and have strong individual personalities, now if its because your shy or have a problem with people, or social problems, then it might not be great, you might want to talk to someone about it. But otherwise, independence is fine. you should still try to make a few friends though, you dont have to have a whole lot, or be in a big social group, but friends are a need, so one or two would be a great thing.

Actually if your a people person than maybe yeah but being independant isn't bad at all it's really not being a loner. You discover so many things when your by yourself its good and i think that when you pay attention to yourself people will notice and come along. It just takes patience and time TRUST ME I KNOW!!!!!!!!!

No, as long as you are happy with your own company. I have lots of friends but sometimes i enjoy being alone, because i don't tire myself out and I'm not always trying to please someone all the time, so sometimes its cool. Sometimes though, you do need other people.
