ok im doing a project for science that envloves a box that can store heat and obsorb heat help please? i know that aluminum foil stores it but yea so please any suggestions the box cant be more than 2 by 2 b y 2 so yea any hel p would be good

u have to use a carboard box yea i know it sucks ummm and no other source like electricity

you could use the aluminum foil to reflect the sun's rays into the box which you could cover, inside and out, with black paper. that way, it is collecting heat and the color black is the result of every color of light being absorbed and much less light reaching your eyes than something red or blue or another color. so, the black closed space would store the heat gathered by reflecting sunlight into the box

You need something that has a high specifc heat and is a good conductor. Copper and aluminum are both good, they build heatsinks for computer processors out of copper. But they both also give off heat very readily. They are good at moving heat but not at storing it. Water is very good at holding alot of heat. a cube made of copper and filled with water would work quite well.
