if you dated a girl for several years and had 2 kids and you left them for another woman you worked with, would you be jealous if she had another man in her life or even if she was just hanging out with a guy as friends? even though you ended the relationship would you still be jealous? would you want them back?

Why do you care what he thinks, feels, or wants? You aren't together, so the only thing about him that should matter is IF he supports his kids, and has a relationship with them.

I really hope I'd never be that much of a creep to begin with. But seeing her with another person wouldn't make me want the relationship back, no. Chances are, if a guy leaves someone after all those years and two children for another woman, he doesn't have the heart to see what he left behind and if he seems to want them back, it's more about control than remorse.
My opinion anyhow.

Sounds like the dog and bone syndrome, the dog doesn't want the bone but he doesn't want any other dogs to have it either, so he buries it, then forgets all about it unless some other dog happens to dig it up, then he wants it back. A lot of guys are like that, but he left you and his 2 children for some other woman? I see where the dog is coming from, but he has no right, just ignore it, unless you really want him back? But then he'll probably just do it again, try to find a better man.

Here's the more important question. Why does it matter?
This loser left "your friend" and thier 2 kids to selfishly presue another relationship. Move on and pick someone that is right "for your friend"... not someone that would make the loser jealous. In the scheme of things he's not thinking about "your friend"

It happens! My husband left me and I was devastated. But after abt 6 months I started talking to other guys and he was just crushed at the thought that I could have someone else. We ended up working things out, but for someone who claimed not to be jealous, he was following me around and kept asking if I had someone new. I didn't btw..

.If a guy gets jealous, then he is totally hypocritical. If he does then she has the right to slap him.
Let us all remember, HE left HER first.
