There are 80 bones in the Axial Skeleton and 126 in the Appendicular Skeleton. This adds up to 206 bones. The skull alone holds 29 bones!!!

Depends on how old you are... A newborn has about 300 bones, but an adult only has about 206. This is because some bones join together. And, you will have to verify this because I am not sure, some just disappear.
