4.0, not necessarily, but definitely at least a 3.5 or higher. Medical schools place high demands on undergraduates for admission, and the reason is simple: medical school work is harder than undergraduate work. So if you aren't getting A's in undergrad, you're going to be in big trouble when you get to med school.
Having said that, medical schools do like to see volunteer work or any type of experience you might have working in a medical setting. So that can count for a lot. But study first!

There are already shortages of scientific docs particularly fields, even ones you would be able to think of of comprise common, like pediatricians. And too many in others, like plastic surgical therapy. You standardize what's critical the placement, and characteristic scientific docs fill those positions (like endless distinctive organisation). as nicely, you on the on the spot are actually not under the phantasm that the present gadget is loose industry. Are you? it particularly is controlled via utilising a small conglomerate of wellness care agencies. the days of the domestically run scientific employer is previous.

You'll need that 4.0 to be accepted into medical school. In order to succeed in medical school, you'll need the study skills you developed in order to obtain that inital 4.0. I don't think that anyone could do well in med school if they weren't able to do well in their undergraduate studies.
