You think there's only one?
First, until Bush there were still a lot of people all over the world who didn't hate America (which is surprising, when you think about it).
For over a century America has supported many of the most brutal and oppressive governments in the world, in many cases, we put them into power in the first place (Shah of Iran and Pinochet spring to mind).
We are the sole supporters of Israel, which the rest of the world has often tried to officially condemn and sanction for its appalling abuse of human rights.
Currently, our Ambassador the the UN believes that America has the right to murder and steal from anyone we want, simply because we are powerful enough to get away with it. (He has said so publicly.)
A lot of people all over the world are really sick of Americans saying things like "We're the only country in the world with freedoms like freedom speech." This is false, and shows the world that Americans are ignorant, arrogant bigots.
Americans consume more resources, and generate more pollution, per capita than any other people -- by far.
America commits torture (and doesn't care who knows it). America has the death penalty.
America has the worst infant mortality rate of any developed country.
Yet Americans act as though none of these things were true, and brag and swagger and put down everyone else, as though they weren't intelligent, civilized people.
America attacked and destroyed a much smaller and less powerful country for no reason, and turned its resources over to known thieves.
Most people (mistakenly) believe we elected one of the worst, most brutal, ignorant, arrogant morons in the world -- twice -- to the position of most dangerous -- whoops! I mean most powerful person in the world.
American foreign policy has been driven by a Puritan-Christian "morality" (that's deeply immoral) and which we try to foist on the rest of the world against their will.
America, the richest country in the world, gives a smaller percent of our wealth in aid than any civilized country.
Well, the list goes on and on, but the above are a few of the reasons many people in other countries hate America.

It's not so much the countries that hate America, just some of their citizens.
Much like it can be said that the Americans "hate" the French, a stereotypical image of the fat, lazy, obnoxious American combined with foreign policy opposed by the more liberal and isloationist countries of Europe causes many people to dislike the country and what it stands for.

the politics-democracy, the influence it has on other countries. Other countries leaders don't want their people to be aware of the good that America does. Also, if I didn't live in North America & lived in a third world country living on dirty water and grass roots, getting raped, living with aids, not having a damn thing, I would be very hateful towards a country that wastes so much, and takes so much for granted. I guess its the stereotypical view on americans as dumbasses who want for nothing and cant think on their own, and the backstabbing, contracting opinions that some people have in this country that reflects as all as a whole. Other than that, um... im not sure.

I think thats an incorrect generalization of how other countries feel about us. Many people from all over the would jump at the chance to move here. Some countries have fundamentalist leadership that maybe at odds with the psuedo-democracy we have, but that in no way should reflect how people of that country may view us. We have to stay away from labeling and remember that people are generally the same, they seek opportunity, family, and happiness. Hate is a strong word, i would rethink the question you are trying to ask.

each and each and every of the islamic international locations, cuz the U. S. is a loose u . s ., with loose speech, you would nicely be in spite of you want to be (you may elect now to not be religious, to be gay, to costume in any way you want) and many different relgions are secure through the U. S. contained in the country and out of doors. Freedom is the perfect project Islam needs, like the caveman minded fools chant 'Islam will dominate, allah is the really god'. To their perspectives, different religions cant exist on the aspect of islam, and when you consider that u . s . a . of america is a huge protector of loose will, it will be concentrated with hate. As for different international locations, ignorancy is a huge ingredient, fantastically with the former Soviet international locations back from the chilly conflict, there are nonetheless human beings in those international locations who hate u . s . a . of america only cuz they were enemies contained in the chilly conflict, and evidently cuz of each and each and every of the propaganda they see and hear contained in the media. most of the east eu international locations have this propaganda for example 'its not reliable to stay contained in the U. S., and human beings are fat and stupid, brainwashed, etc' cuz the inhabitants of those international locations is lowering as a results of immigration, and the overall public bypass to the U. S., and they wrestle each and everything to keep the folk from shifting, they wrestle to cause them to have self assurance that their previous u . s . is the perfect position they are oftentimes. Im from Hungary, have self assurance me i understand. yet i love the U. S. and maximum west eu international locations. yet for sure its not international locations that usually hate u . s . a . of america, its only human beings, for example, not absolutely everyone hate France and not in any respect absolutely everyone love France. Its very few human beings. yet for sure usually, as I suggested the islamic international locations. And there are those who only hate cuz they dont have a jack sh*t theory about the global, they %. an aspect and then only bypass with the bypass

If america had not intervened in WWI on the side of France and Britain the sides would have come to a just peace. There would have been no Weimar republic and no Hitler.
To answer your question I need to ask a you a question. If you went in to your job and every day there was some guy always telling you that he is the greatest guy on the job do you think you might get tired of it?

Mostly because of the past. We won both world wars and even won other country's back for them. We have the most technology and most advanced medicine. We also have social welfare the best in the world. We have human rights that some places don't even think of as rights. And we don't fight for our rights We impose them on others!!
