Ok well my birthday was 5 days ago and my friend gave me a card. When I opened the card..there was money in there. And I said no I can't accpet this. So i secretly put it in her backpack and then I told her that I did. She said "Are you serious?" She got really mad at me. And now shes been ignoring me ever since? She's a really really great friend and know I don't know what to do. What do I say? What do I do? Do you think I should call her? PLEASE HELP! Tell me what to say to her PLEASE! No imature answers...

I'm sorry to tell you this but by doing that she got offended and insulted.Think about it this way...you offer a gift to one of your good friends for her birthday and she refuse it.It's like telling you I DON'T want your gift take it back.Would you like that?The best thing you can do is talk to her one-on-one(not over the phone she can easily hang up on you or tell you shes too busy now).Tell her your sorry and that you never meant to be rude or anything.Just tell her how you felt about it.How she'll respond is up to how you'll tell her.Hey you can even offer her a cup of coffee in a restaurant,like that you'll make it up to her AND talk thing out.Hope you'll be good friends like before.

My friend gave me money in a card to and I told her the same thing but she said keep and I kept it! She has no reason be mad at you!

let her know that ur friendship means a lot to u then explain why her gift was returned in secret which is by the way, insulting, if she's not talking to u write it to her in a letter then see how she takes it and if u guys can possibly still be friends as if that didn't happen. good luck.

ASk her for the money back she feels rejected by you , a Gift is something special you have hurted her feeling by rejecting her gift. When you receive a present from someone , your actually sharing by accepting the gift . Apologize to her !And take You gift back!

Well, obviously she felt rejected. You should definately talk to her, call her. Ask her to explain to you exactly why it hurt so much. Next time, just accept what is given to you.

Well if shes really your friend shell understand why you did it but if shes reallly important keep trying.Letters ,phonecalls ,if you both have computers even email her.Make her understand that you were only doing it 'cause your her friend or BFF!!!!!!
