hehe I am so evil when I comes to pranks but I am terrified of needles. I am always tense when I go to the dentist; I hate the needles they use and the damn cherry paste they put on my gums. Tastes nasty, I prefer mint.

Interestingly, I,m afraid to be around balloons Iam afraid of the unexpected pop that can occur. You never know when that could happen and startle you, its basically the element of surprise. I wasn,t very popular at parties when I was younger and I,m 45 today. I remember I attended a party when I was 10 years old and they played a game that required putting a balloon inbetween your back and your partners and the first one to bust their balloon won a nice prize. my partner I was teamed up with was very angry with me because I wouldn,t participate. needless to say I left the party early. its that unpredictable startle of the pop, which can be loud. nothing unusual about not liking that. Do firecrackers and fireworks do that to you also? It does me. Your not alone.

Long needles are definitely more scary u can stab some1 with a needle but u cant kill a person with a balloon popping.

lol... I'm afraid of balloons popping! I had to "shave" a balloon once in Allied Health, and I was so freaking scared of popping the damn thing!! Others were popping just to make me angry and scared!!! Just the tension, the knowing that'll pop, the energy, the noise... arg!

Balloons popping-I don't know why it bugs me so much. Needles don't really bug me; I guess I can take pain better than those stupid balloons....
