Me and one of my good friends have always been the type that flirted with each other, goofing off and holding hands. but we where never more then that. we didn't "want to cross the line". during this time that we have been friends we both haven't really gone out with anyone. hook up yes. and dated poeple that we both knew that it wouldn't last long. lately i have been talking to this one girl. she really nice and everything. My friend and i where talking one day. and she said to me " you really like this girl don't you?" sounding kinda shock. since this she been acting kinda weird around me. and now i starting to have second thoughts about if i really like this girl?
or do i like my best friend? .
now the problem ( question) : my friend wants me to meet my new girlfriend since she is home for thanksgiving break. is this a way to make this not really awkard? do you think you think by chance my friend likes me? what should i do? please help. thank you

i think that your best friend is afraid she is gonna lose you to that chick of yours. it seemed like it was better wen it was just the two of you not dating anyone seriously. there is a territory to be explored but if you explore that feeling its very hard to go back to being best friends if something doesnt work out. i guess you just have to have yourself which relationship do you want more. your best friend as a girlfriend or just a best friend wondering what could have been. hope tht helps

Looks like you have to treat your friend special without being too distant to your gf. You don't want to alienate your gf either, so hopefully your old friend doesn't get all hostile. Worst scenario is they hate each other and it complicates your life. Best scenario is everyone gets along great. Good luck.

Well, you can stick with things as they are or you can make a move and see what happens. Either way, honesty is an important part of a relationship.

Go for it, I think she loves you.
