How often do you give blood?

I'm afraid of needles, but I do try to suck it up and give blood anyway at least once a year. It is for a good cause.

I used to donate about 4 times a year. But since I started working nights I don't donate any more. The last time i donated I fainted because i had worked all night and was tired. I should donate again..My blood type is AB+ and is needed.

Never. I tried to do it once, but they couldn't find any veins, and after prodding around on my arm with a needle for 45 minutes, they gave up. I ended up looking like a junkie with all the bruises and poke marks on my arm.

I'll keep my blood, thank you very much.

I have never given any (sob, sob).

I am diabetic, have arthritis, and hypertension AND am on a lot of medications so I imagine nobody would want mine any more.

When I was younger I tried to give blood but fainted. I'm sure this is not unheard of -- except I fainted BEFORE they put the needles in.

I donate blood twice a year.....

But I might have to start having to get paid for plasma so I can aford some of the finer things
that I'm used to.

O+ and they dont let me donate anymore cause I lived in Europe in the late 80's early 90's... I could have eaten e a "mad cow". yeah whatever.




I use to donate every 8 weeks like clockwork... I was over 2 gallons.
