my paternal grampa had given me a stuffed animal likeness of lassie. it was for christmas... i was 4 years old then. because it was from him, i cherished the toy..... long gone unfortunately..( grrr mom...). (i did find a similar stuffed animal in a store shortly after grampa's death... it rests ontop of my dresser mirror, along with a few other favorite stuffed critters.)

I liked my Erector Set and my Lincoln Logs because I liked to build things and I could get more at the Goodwill & Salvation Army for real cheap. They didn't have Legos when I was a kid
but they did have them in Germany when I went there the first time 1966-68 and they were so amazing.

Or books. I know they're not toys, but I read a lot as a kid. The Encyclopedia was my favorite.

I had a stuffed Panda bear that I loved and a dolly that I still remember, had it at the age of 1-2 years old.
