It depends in what format it is. If it's an editable document (Word or the like), simply open it in the appropriate word processing software, select all of the text, change the size of the font and save it. If it's a PDF document (which you won't be able to edit without appropriate Adobe software), you may be able to tell the printer to fit it to the page (which will reduce the size of the whole document proportionately).

usually before you print a document the printing prefrences opens up and you click the box that sais fit to page
try this dont use the icon that looks like a printer to print the report,
open the report, then click file at the top of the window, and click print, then a page will pop up to select what printer you want to use, if the option to fit to page isnt there, select your printer and click properties, from there your on your own because the page you see next is differant on every printer and i cant tell you unless you were using my printer what to do, but there is a resize option on every printer page.
good luck

The print length of something coming in off the internet, as adversarial to something interior your individual laptop, is set via the visual reveal unit settings. i latterly had to purchase a clean visual reveal unit by way of fact the older the visual reveal unit, the less issues it may reveal the way the programmers meant. My contemporary one is 1280 x 1024 res. As I comprehend it, this is the actual pixel count quantity left to suited and actual to backside. even with the indisputable fact that it particularly is set decrease so as that the reveal fills the reveal screen extra helpful, or as much as the decrease for something like a significant image with a great form of element that i prefer to fill the reveal screen. those adjustments in settings will needless to say replace the scale of each little thing displayed, which incorporate the lettering. so which you're able to save it set the place you are able to study each little thing. Us old people with detrimental eyesight prefer that function.

Simply, I think your report came in your email as a picture so you just need any pictures editor like ACD, and resize it from there.

when you go to print it, try using the "scale" function to make it smaller
or if it's your document you can resize it in microsoft word

try to find a "fit all in the page" kind of option... some printers have it some don't...
if you were more specific on the kind of document... maybe we could be more helpful
