Just because they fit does not and I repeat make it SAFE. each breaker has a 2 or 3 letter code on it usually by the handle. You take the letter code and you can see if it will match the letter codes listed on the front cover of your panel. you can also search out the manufacture website and getting the list of compatible panels or breakers that will interchange. Unless you have done that and/or are sure they will work you are taking a Very High Risk! either it could burn up the buss in the panel or not function properly! Either way it is not worth the chance. Electrical Inspector/ Contractor

Well quite a few will fit, but I don't recomend doing it. I am an electrician and I do my best to not do this. If you put breakers not designed for the panel, it becomes a liablity issue. but, most residental style breakers will be interchangable, just take an ite and hold it next to the one you want to install. look at the tab, make sure it is the correct depth look at the clip on the other side is it the same width and is the over all demention the same If i were to do this i would put it in and check the fit, grab the handle up down left right ect, if it doesn't pop off it should be fine. This should be done with the panel cover off. If you are going out to purchase breakers ITE breakers are easy to come by.
