I know it's a long shot, but I thought I'd ask anyways. I'm on the Nuva Ring and my intent was to skip this period and just put a new ring in, however the pharmacy screwed up and I was late getting the new ring, so I've started getting some dark brown spotting. This has been happening for the last couple days. I put the new ring in a 2 days ago, but I'm still spotting. Not enough for a tampon, but enough that my bf won't want to have sex with me when I go see him on Sunday! ;)

From my experience... you can try a couple things.
1. Try douching with warm water.
2. Try masterbating/intercourse. your "chemicals" have been know to speed up the menses.
I use to play the "hurry it up" or "push it up" when I was on the BC pills for the weekends with B/f but that worked with pills.
However, I dont think your can completely stop mother nature...once its started. try hurrying it up.

i do no longer think of there is something you're able to do to stop it. as quickly as the blood turns to a brownish shade, which ability the top of the era is amazingly close to. As for having intercourse inclusive of your boyfriend, WHY would you intend it. did no longer you comprehend that spontanaety is greater relaxing? do no longer plan such issues...in the adventure that your plan does not artwork out, you would be disillusioned. i do no longer think of your b/f needs to have intercourse once you're bleeding the two.
