Based on your team now I would jump at that deal. Nowitzki is a top 5 fantasy player and you should be able to pick up respectable backups on the free agent wire to fill the 2 spots you will leave open. Nowwitzki, Pierce and Howard as your starting forwards with Okur at center gives you easily the best front line in your league and I think keeping your #1 ranking is more likely if you make the deal.

I suggest that you go for it! You have enough three point shooters in Barbosa, Pierce, and Ray Allen that you can afford to lose Mike Miller. You can also lose Charlie Villanueva as he is out due to injury for the next 4-6 weeks. As for Stephon Marbury, his play this year is largely inconsistent.

In Dirk Nowitzki, you get FT%, MIN, PTS, REBS, and a handful of AST, STL, and BLKS.

This could go both ways I would do it if you can find a capable FA who can get you some assists and shoots good percentages.Nowitzki is a great plus to any roster.I have found some good players in the FA market that have decent stats that help me out were i need it.Look for players who play in more than one position such as sg/sf or pf/c this enables you to set roster each day to get as many players in game as possible.I did notice all players you would be giving up do not have great percentages Nowitzki would help here and points if you find FAs to replace vacancies, you will have two.
