Please don't give me lectures about how silly or dangerous it is...its for a research project...since I have never used a board, do they sell they sell them at Wal-mart anymore or can you just get them online or by making them?

I have to bring one in for class and discuss its history, and I'd like to start on it tonight...theres not a ToysRus in my town....does Walmart or K-Mart carry them ?

I've never seen them at a Walmart around where I live, but Toys R Us and ebay has them. And KB Toys I think.

you can buy them at toy stores.. cult shops... ebay.. any place online if you key it up in google.com and the best things about it are.. if you look hard enough you'll find old, rather elaborate... and very detailed boards to buy.
some of them are quite the collectors item.. some are even made of marble... and brass....
it's best to get one that's nicely done.... the cheap ones are a bore and you'll just toss it into the closet.
no they're not dangerous.. but if you do it right you can scare the beejeezees out of someone.
i'd go for the more elaborate boards... they're real nice pieces of art.

Almost any store with a big toy and game department should have one. Your best bet might be to order it on line. I'm sure there's somone on e-bay who would sell one for cheap.

Yeah, pretty much any toy store, or general store where they sell games.
It's not dangerous, btw...it's one person pushing the pointer around the board.
