What is the definition of a security object? My boss wants me to identify the application's security objects

. I am thinking these are areas in the system that have limits on who can access them? I'm not sure...someone please explain. Thanks!

Your boss might be confusing objects with standards (or objectives.) All applications should meet minimum security standards and I think this attached article will give you a pretty decent starting point to impress your boss :-)
