I was wondering that. Do you mixed people think are better than people who aren't? I've noticed people say "I'm beautiful because I'm mixed" or "I'm lucky i don't have black people's hair." A lot of mixed people are always saying how the how world should be mixed. What if i said i wanted the whole world to be black? Would that statement be the same? I'm just going by observance. i didn't mean to offend anyone.

I agree with you on this.Yes please believe me that i'm black and irish.I'm one of those high yellows who could pass as white. But no I don't think i'm better.Me and my bro are both pink skinned and we don't think we are better.I am mixed and I recently cut my hair.I had the biggest afro in my school. But I do get offended when black women call me white boy or when I tell them I am half black they start laughing. It's kinda like black girls that I know and seen on TV say "I have beautiful black skin and big pretty lips".Now that gets on my nerves. So see,us mixed kids should be proud. You know you got those white girls who think they're better because they have blonde hair.I'm mixed, pink, curly haired, tall, and handsome and I got all the reasons in the world to be proud of myself.I wouldnt change myself for anything or anyone. It's all about being proud of who you are.

I don't know that mixed people think they are better you can have all kinds of mixes and not even be aware. For instance if you mix an englishwith a french they are both white races but they are still mixed, wouldn't the world do better if we were all blind so there would be no need to look at the color of the skin, which is petty, we wouldn't know except for people of different language, so we of course would need a universal language also.

I have a dream.

Ever heard the quote (paraphrased) "Rather be silent and thought stupid, than open your mouth and remove all doubt?"

Anyone who thinks that they are better than anyone else based on ethnicity (mixed or otherwise) has a big problem: they just removed all doubt as to the integrity of their character and their capacity for rational thought.

Some people make generalizations to try to understand others, and some use the same generalizations to condemn. Argh! Any wonder this is a mixed-up world? (no play on words intended)

You sound like an intelligent person... don't let ignoramuses hook you with racist nonsense. I am a mixed ethnicity person. Yes, some of the problems I have in this world are a direct result of others prejudices. But whose isn't? It doesn't make me more or less than anyone else.

We can't control anyone else's thoughts, feelings, or opinions except our own. To attempt to do so is an exercise in futility.

I'm mixed and I've never said anything like that. And if you ask me, it's the other races that are always saying stuff like that about us. People are always so quick to say "Just because you have light skin, light eyes, and good hair, you think you're better than me?" People have said that to me so many times and I never brag on myself. And even if I do, it's never because of my race. And people are always saying we're too light for one side of the fence and too dark for the other side. We just can't win with society. If you ever stop to think about it, us mixed people are the ones who have it hard (and I'm not trying to offend or degrade any other race with that comment).

Some mixed people have the mind complex of a rotting piece of meat (just like anyone else with "race", color, hair, or skin complexes); for those that think in the way you mentioned in the above quotations

Well my mixture is a lil different, I'm half Arabian half Indian, half black and Half Russian. LOL did you notice how many halfs do I have?!!!
people always think I'm Russian!!! looks like all of these rapes didn't do anything to me but the Russian!!
Any ways I think that any one should be proud of what he is, any one should be proud being a black kind person. Just remembering how these people lived without coloning and abusing any other country in this world would be enough for any one to wish he was black!! Looking at this chocolate beautiful color and drawing in to these nightly eyes!! I lllove dark chocolate colors.

They are the emerging new race in North American. Hopefully they will have the best of both races, not the worst. Then Again Americans are selfish, conceited, stuck-up and holier-than-thou.
