Yes, Nexium should be fine. But check with your doctor as well if you are still unsure. Your doctor can provide you with a list of what is safe during pregnancy.

I am 37 weeks pregnant with my second child. I have taken nexium with both pregnancies and have NO side effects. I have extreme gastroesophgial reflux disease and need the nexium all the time. If your docs at the ER suggest nexium I would check with your OB before you do anything, just to be safe.

I took Nexium through out my whole pregnancy and my son is just fine.

It depends on ow far along you are. Some meds you can take and some you cant. They recommend tums or rolaids. I took zantac util about a week ago. Im 38 weeks now so I take nexium. Drinking milk sometimes helps me too.
