Check out Waynesville, NC, or any small town in Western NC, very romantic. This section of NC is dotted with bed and breakfasts and romantic hide-a-ways. Pigeon Forge, or Gatlingburg, TN, are also excellent.

Lake Geneva, WI. They have some of the best B&B's i've ever stayed in. There is also a real cute, romantic town called kalamazoo in MI. (or maybe it was just the company that made it so great for me!!!!!) :)
