you can overcome loneliness but you cant overcome death

Been lonely and been near death. Being near death is great, you learn to treasure a moment of life. Loneliness is possibly finite.
So my answer is that life is the best thing, death is the opposite. Ever hear the Nirvana song with the line "I miss the comfort of being sad"? Even loneliness is life, and not all bad.
