Major Astro was a show for kids during the space race in the mid-sixties.
It was great, he wore a space suit and he'd point to a screen and then they'd switch over to a cartoon. Top Cat, Astro-Boy, Felix the Cat were my faves.
At the end of the show he'd use his two hands to make a "A" shape and say, "until next time boys and girls, everything is A-okay and all systems are go."
