a boat with a ladder is in a lake. The water is covering the bottom rung of the ladder. There are 3 more rungs. The rungs are 3 inches wide and 7 inches aprt. The water rises at a rate of 2.5 inches per 72 minutes. How long until the water will enter the boat?

Never. The boat will stay floating no matter how high the water gets. The ladder will go with the boat so no more rungs will be covered. Good one! : )
